Having witnessed the extraordinary potential waving holds to bring people together during the making of Wavelength Packington, I decided to explore the power of the wave further.

I travelled by train, ferry and bus inviting locals to wave at their fellow citizens. I filmed 411 wavers in the process posting my journey and the each wave on social media.

I embarked on a two months solo-journey across the European Union to create Wavelength Europe - a celebration of solidarity and friendship aiming to disrupt populist narratives and feelings of disconnection rising among generations, communities and nations.

The making of the film was a collaborative effort carried by the solidarity and connection Wavelength aims to fosters. The endless kindness of strangers, help of friends and trust of each waver made this celebration of our shared humanity come alive.

Wavelength Europe has been shown in public projected onto landmark buildings, as multi-screen installations and community screenings at art-festivals in the UK and Europe and most recently during the first leg of The Wavelength Tour of Solidarity in Denmark.
