The Wavelength Tour Of Solidarity

Denmark

I was invited by the municipalities of Ringkøbing and Herning to bring the power of the wave to Denmark. I spent two weeks cycling on the magic Wavemobile showing the Wavelength film in local community centers, schools, and villages. I filmed new wavers and had great and meaningful discussions about solidarity and the need for connection. The screenings were accompanied by local musicians, school choirs and poetry readings.

The route in Ringkøbing :

Cycling around Ringkøbing Fjord, I was welcomed by Ringkøbing Gymnasium, MSM day care center, the people meeting at Røde Kors Caféen, the pupils of Fjordskolen, the community of Forsamlingshuset in Hemmet, Blåkilde Efterskole, the art group in Skjern and the children of Naturhuset in Velling.

The wavers of Ringkøbing municipality:

The tour continued in Herning, where I spent time in Timring, Vilberg, Kølkær and Herning city sharing Wavelength with people at an elderly people’s home, a steel factory, farm, museum, schools and town squares. The tour was covered in local newspapers and radio. What a ride!
